Saving the Voice of Kelemvor
 Zoab wants to kill the Voice of Kelemvor so that souls of the False forced to serve in the City of Judgment will flock to join the crusade. If you’ve sided with the Militia, your job becomes to protect the Voice of Kelemvor by killing Zoab. Zoab can inflict vorpal hits, and packs quite a divine spell arsenal, including a spell that is sure to leave your party blinded for some time. He will also be assisted by a Planetar and several Half-Celestials and warriors. This battle can be quite random. Sometimes Zoab comes straight for you and ahead of his follows. If that happens, go for him first by all means. Other times he’ll hang back and cast spells. It can be difficult to reach him through his followers, so you may want to load up on spells that enhance your defences against magic and weather the storm. Then try to cut down the followers with offensive spells and melee as quickly as you can. Zoab will leave behind the Bracers of the Inner Planes, an Amulet of Will +8, and a Ring of Divine Power (5).
If you come here first, the Voice of Kelemvor will still be alive. If you come here either 2nd or 3rd, Zoab will have killed the Voice and you’ll have to settle for killing him in a forced conflict. You’ll get 2,000xp in any event.
Assassinating the Voice of Kelemvor
If you sided with the Crusade, your job is to help Zoab assassinate the Voice of Kelemvor. The Voice is a powerful cleric, surrounded by other Clerics of Kelemvor and Divine Champions. If you do this mission 2nd or 3rd, the Voice of Kelemvor will have gotten away on Zoab and you’ll also have Baatezu led by a Pit Fiend to contend with. You’ll get 2,000xp for completing the job in any event.
