INNER CURST

The following smaller buildings are described at the bottom of this page:

Guide to Inner Curst

The gate back to Outer Curst is at 1.

The Guard Captain at 2 is the one you need to speak to after talking to An'izius and Siabha in connection with the fourth Key quest.

The various containers at 3 outside the Warehouse contain:

The entrance to the Warehouse is at 4.

At 5 you will find Skatch, 5 Harmonium Officers, and Jasilya. You need to kill the Harmonium Officers, including Skatch, to solve the first Key quest. If you want to keep Jasilya alive, your best bet is to place two of your fighters near her to take on the nearest Harmonium Officer. Have Dak'kon cast Submerge the Will on her to boost her Armor Class. Let Annah hide in the shadows so she can get in a backstab. Then speak to Skatch, but just ask what they are doing. Don't mention Jasilya, or he will order his guards to kill her rather than letting her go free.

Skatch will try to take you as a slave, initiating combat. Try to cover Jasilya and make sure everyone has access to healing charms. Don't use spells like Call Lightning or Fire and Ice, as they also hurt neutral creatures and will certainly kill Jasilya. Once the officers are disposed of, speak to Jasilya, then report back to Marquez in the Traitor's Gate Tavern.

Skatch drops a Battle Axe of Quality, the other officers drop random items.

The entrance to the Apothecary is at 6.

Wernet will be at 7 once you have accepted the third Key quest from Nabat and spoken to Kyse the dumpster in Outer Curst.

One of the barrels on the wagon at 8 contains:

The entrance to the Barracks is at 9.

You will find the harlot Kiri at or around 10. She is displayed as a "Curst Citizen" but unlike other citizens who either stand in small groups or walk around, she usually stands alone near the guillotine. You need to speak to Kiri if you want to help Roberta kill her husband.

An'izius is walking around near the gate to Carceri at 11. He is an important character in town, and well aware of it. Once you have gotten the fourth Key quest to resolve a political dispute, you need to speak to An'izius.

Siabha is standing at the locked entrance to Curst's administration building at 12. She is An'izius' political enemy. After speaking to An'izius, you can speak to Siabha and choose to take her side in their political dispute.

After speaking to both politicians, you can choose to turn in one or the other, or both, to the Guard Captain at 2. See the quest resolution for details.

At 13 you can find a container with the Scent of the Storm and six pieces of Junk.

The Warehouse

The various people in here have very little to say to you. But at least there is some good treasure.

Map Key

  1. Exit back to Inner Curst.
  2. Locked container with:
    • Gold Bracelet.
    • Gold Ring.
    • Gold Earring.
    • Gold Ingot.

The Apothecary

The Apothecary is owned by Kester. He is one of the two brothers you need to speak to in connection with the second Key quest.

Map Key

  1. Exit back to Inner Curst.
  2. Kester.

Kester at 2 sells various charms and is one of the brothers you need to speak to in connection with the second Key quest. If you side with him, he will be grateful to you and offer you a discount on his prices. If you side with Crumplepunch or Kitla, or if you decide to split the inheritance fifty-fifty, he will be miffed and raise his prices!

The Barracks

This building is quite useless to you – for now, at least.

Map Key

  1. Exit back to Inner Curst.
