CAMP

Another Nightmare

I go to the so-called "After Lothering Camp", and have another nightmare that involves watching the Archdemon issue commands to the Darkspawn horde.

Alistair's Past

Again, there's always an interest in gaining approval with comrades so that their key stat gets a bonus. In the case of Alistair, it's a matter of listening sympathetically to stories about his past, and his unresolved feelings regarding what happened at Ostagar, in order to up his Constitution.

Bodahn's Story

I include this video to show, for interest's sake, the backstory of Bodahn Feddic and his son Sandal. Bodahn can also be hit up for rumors if you're so inclined.

Bodahn's Wares

I now buy the following from Bodahn while I still can:

I return to Lothering, and have Leliana use the Tome of Physical Technique to add Lethality, and have Aldarion use the Tome of Arcane Technique to add Paralyze.

Now I make my way back to Camp, which is actually now the "Usual Camp" instead of the "After Lothering Camp". I then show that Bodahn's wares have reset. I can buy duplicates of the same items when I am ready for them.

*Where Next?*

Now that I have a number of choices before me, it is time to explain my decision and its rationale.

My immediate priority is to recruit Wynne as my next core party member. But this requires completing the Circle of Magi quest, and defeating a Pride Demon in the process. So I don't exactly want to begin the Circle of Magi quest without some decent equipment for everybody first. Part of this is a method of gaining limitless gold in order to purchase some of the choicer (more expensive) items to be found. This method requires the Master Herbalist skill, which means I need to buy a Tome of Skill and Sundry for Morrigan and advance her to the 10th level as well.

The party will make its way to the Circle Tower via Lake Calenhad.
